Gaziantep Baklava, Türkiye’s first product received a geographical indication in 2013, is the product of endless labor, patience and mastery. This baklava has gained great fame not only in Türkiye but also all over the world; it continues to keep Gaziantep’s rich culinary culture alive in every bite.
The red jewel of the Southeast, Suruç Pomegranate, grows in the warm lands of Suruç. With its dark red seeds and its sweet and slightly sour taste, this fruit stands out. Recognized with a geographical indication in 2023, Suruç Pomegranate is known as a symbol of abundance. The brightness of the pomegranate seeds and the intensity of their taste ripen as a gift of nature on the sunny days of the Southeast and add brilliance to the tables.
Another precious product, Araban Garlic, is grown in the Araban district of Gaziantep and stands out with its intense aroma. Registered with a geographical indication in 2024, Araban Garlic withstands the harsh climate of the Southeast with its rich aroma and durable structure.
